Our Teitho prompt for the July/August challenge is Divergence.
Divergence can be defined in many ways: a moving apart, a disagreement, a deviation from a set course, or even an alternate reality or universe.
What would have happened if Glorfindel had been the Elven representative for the Fellowship? Or if Bilbo and Frodo had not been as close?
What disagreements might have ended differently and changed an entire story line? Fëanor and his brothers? Turin and Mîm?
Divergent pathways lead to different endings. Or do they?
Canon divergence. Alternate reality.
The choice is yours! We can’t wait to see which way you take the story.
