It can be also a sound of someone trying to speak behind a gag. Maybe instead of luxury, we have a hostage situation here! Who is the gagged one, and how did that happen?
Or is it just an inarticulated answer to an annoying question?
"Darling, can you carry these packages for me while I try these shoes from Harad? They are on discount!"
"Mmmmmmmm..."
And maybe it is something entirely else! It's only up to you what you will come with, and how you will interpret the sound.
