The January theme in Teitho is an Escape. What or where from? You decide!
Escape from a perilous situation? They are many kinds of peril in Middle-earth that the characters can escape from, posing different threats. But escape is an escape, whether it's from the bonds or prisons of an enemy, or from a boring conversation with an ambassador. It can be a matter of luck, but also an implementation of a complicated plan. Sometimes even a complicated plan is not enough, and some help from outside is needed.
Escape from reality? While the first kind of escape is from a physical situation, this one is more subtle, and rather psychological. It can be an imaginary place or memory, a book, a song... Anything that takes you away from the worries or griefs and turns your mind to other thoughts.
Escape from responsibility? This is a form of escape that does not end well in long term, but sometimes even the greatest might feel the need for it. You can explore this theme by writing about the escape, but also ovecoming such thoughts and an eventual return to face the responsibility.
