This contest is a labor of love, and we want to be sure that it appeals to as many writers and lovers of fanfiction as possible.
If you would like to make a suggestion for how we could improve, or let us know what you think we're doing right, please reply to this thread! While we can't promise to use all suggetions presented to us, we will certain consider them carefully and implement all that we can.

We're sad that the old website had to be taken down, as it had served so well for so long, but didn't want to see the contest die. The work to bring the archives over continues, and it means the world to hear it's appreciated!

Although I have not been so active in Teitho for quite a while now I am so happy to know that you are keeping it alive and can't thank all of you admins enough for all the hard work you are putting in here. Hopefully I will be able to make some time to write another entry in the not too distant future.

Cassie, we're delighted to see that you've found our new home, and that you're still following the contest! With everything going on in the world it seems many are struggling to find their muse... Hopefully things will return to at least closer to normal soon, and we'll look forward to you stories then!

Dear Moderators
I wanted to say a huge thank you for all the effort and dedication you are bringing to this contest. Even in transferring all to the new Website. I'm glad you saved all these wonderful stories. It has been very inspiring to me and I love to submit stories. I've discovered it last year, and participated three times since.
I check every month for the entries and I was quite sad to find none these last two times. I hope it is only a temporary absence.
For what concerns myself it is more that I'm quite absorbed by some personal issues as to be able to concentrate on creating new stories at the moment, and not because of the themes. I hope that soon I will find some quiet for new inspiration again. And I hope to read new stories here in the next months for it would be such a pity if this is getting lost.
Anyway, thank you so much again for all you did, and all you are still doing for this archive and contest!

We're struggling with writing ourselves, and apparently, it is a widespread side effect of the pandemic and the stresses it's put us all under. In light of that, and in the hopes this contest might in some small way be a beacon of hope that normality will return, we have no intentions of closing it down until it's become clear that it's outlived its purpose of inspiring great fanfiction. That time has NOT yet come! Our hope is also that the upcoming Amazon series might lead to new inspiration, new readers and new writers! Please don't forget that we welcome suggestions for themes for our monthly challenges, and make every effort to use them. You're welcome to email your suggestions to teitho.contest@gmail.com, or to leave them here. |

I don't write myself, but I love reading the Teitho stories. I was otherwise busy for a while and now when I came back I saw that the old website doesn't exist anymore and had to search a while to find this one, and then I wasn't completely certain whether it was the right one, because the design is so different. Maybe you could somehow arrange for a short info box to pop up if someone enters the link of the old website, something along the lines of "Teitho contest has moved to another website. Click here to find us on our new website"? That might help some people avoid a lot of confusion  I don't know if that's possible, but personally I'd also appreciate if you could change the design a little, perhaps to something loosely resembling the old one? I got so used to it Thanks for your great work! |

thanks so much for asking... we have had some issues in the last month with some mods not being available but will try to get some posted in the next few weeks. I think we will extend the last prompt for another month and announce it so.
Very sorry this has happened but we weren't able to get into the site.. but now we can and will do our best to get things sorted.

I don't think it's hard to navigate at all. But I'm used to an eboard format.
I look forward to new prompts. I've been wanting to write stuff for the last few months lol.
