With the advent of the new Amazon Rings of Power series and in memory of the Long Expected Party (and the transfer of one particular ring that night) our August/September challenge is Rings!
Will you follow the history of the One Ring back to its forging? Or perhaps tell us a story of the Nine, the Seven, the Three?
Or do you prefer to write about the Ring of Barahir, the ring that traces its history back to Finrod Felagund and the generations who wore it long after his demise?
Or will you choose wedding rings?
Rings of fire?
Gandalf’s smoke rings?
Or shall you take us to Fangorn forest and tell the tale of the passage of years found in the rings of an ancient tree?
Or the trumpet call that rings out—to issue a challenge, to rally the troops, to signal victory?
